Who we are
We are an internet based company established by locums.
Locumsconnect.com is not an agency. We provide a platform allowing practices (surgeries) to contact locums via email or SMS text message in order to book them. We provide locums with interactive calendars which can be used on or off our platform allowing them a greater amount of flexibility when it comes to looking for work.
We believe having an online presence gives locums the best chance of finding work.

As a locum sometimes it is difficult to stay on top and in control of bookings yet maintaining freedom. Locumsconnect.com provides you with everything you need to fly solo in the locum world. We provide you with a webpage that synchronises your calendar with Microsoft Outlook which means you can keep one calendar rather than the tedious process of duplication. Your page is structured with useful templates that allow you:
· to keep and update your CV online,
· set your own terms and conditions
· Set your own rates.
· There is SMS facility to receive important alerts e.g. your next appointment from your calendar as well as to
send SMS (text messaging) to friends anywhere in the world.
· You can also opt to receive booking request by SMS.
· We provide you with ability to be in control of your schedule by allowing you to control how much of your calendar
you want viewed at any time (future update).
BENEFITS:
With Locumsconnect.com, you can share your calendar/webpage with practices (surgeries) that are not registered with us simply by giving them a link to your page (this service is unique to us). This way you can be proactive when it comes to looking for work.
With locumsconnect.com, there is no need to send lots of locums CVs, letters of availability to practices, just send an email with your calendar page link (your page contains your CV, Calendar, Terms and Condition and Rates, Booking Contact). Don’t wait passively for practices to search for you why not send them your updated calendar.
Our Service to The Practice
ORGANISATION, PLANNING & ACCESS
We believe that what practices want is access to up-to-date locum availability which will help them with organisation and planning. At present, reliance is on either agencies who ask doctors for availability and forward the information to the practice or websites that serve the same purpose.
At Locumsconnect.com, we do not just provide the practice with a list of possible doctors available to them for their requested dates but we also allow practices to view individual doctors’ calendar diaries. You can increase your success rate by sending booking request by email and text.
Locums using this site agree to Terms and Conditions which stipulate that they agree to update their pages regularly. We have enabled our web calendars to synchronise with Outlook calendar which should make updating it easier.
